The lion mode might be a little silly with its samurai motif, but they did a great job with the proportions here compared to a lot of cat-bots. It's got an extended torso and good shape to the hind legs, not to mention a fully articulated head.

Got mine yesterday, but I need to see if I can buy a tiny little screw, because the one that's used for the backpack piece of the cannon broke at the tip, so it can't hold together. Either that, or I might just glue the shaft in.

I agree that he's really, really impressive. My only kind of "nitpick" about him is his size. He's just so big that he doesn't exactly fit in with anything. I'm glad I have a shelf of Primes where scale isn't an issue, but he's definitely larger than I was anticipating him being.

I feel scale wise he fits in surprisingly well with flame toys peices, and his silhouette works with them in my opinion. That said he is not a flame toys peice at all his detailing and engineering is not on that level at all.

I went in when they initially had it at $190 because I thought even that was very fair. Then it dropped and I got another $20 of credit added to my account. I do try to support Stateside retailers as much as possible, often when the price difference is non-existent or negligible (Fans Toys and MMC have zero difference in cost), but when this is running at $250 locally, and then TCP is also offering Flame Toys Shattered Glass Drift at $250, I can't justify to myself paying that price for this figure.

I think she could certainly stand to be improved, which isn't to say the original is a bad figure at all. Iron Factory has improved so much as a company that I honestly want them to revisit a number of their first releases. The Datsun Bros, Windblade, and Arcee in particular.

My fanshobby archenemy from their black friday sale finally came in and right off the bat let me say HOLY SHIT this guy can't stand. He's heavy as hell, which isn't anything bad, but his ankles are godawful. The hinge letting the feet go up isn't anywhere nearly strong enough to stop him from from falling forwards, and the plastic they're mounted on actually flexes enough that he'll tip backwards too. He also has a ton of play in his hips between each ratchet, so he's gonna slump as soon as you set him down and that just makes it all worse.

I'm legit mad at a toy, first time I can remember that.

I bought the Infinite transformation one and the tail and one of the ankles broke on me. The tail was my fuckup during transformation but the foot arrived broken and I had to swap it out. The joints on my IT one are tight as hell and some stuff doesn't align properly in dino form. I'd advise against this one because the cons outweight the pros. Haven't handled the other KO one so I can't say whether that one is better.

I bought the brandless one and dino feet broke on me, fake dino head chest wouldnt peg in well, also the hinge broke, one of the head have buckteeth, and paint is chipping from the elbow joint.
I bought it for 70 ish too and i dont regret it since the MP is still 150 ish, but i wouldnt recommend it

Well I got mine in today, and just from primary messing with him things seem to be in order. Gave his knees a little bend, shifted his hips a little forward, and he seems to be holding balance just fine. I'll keep an eye on him to see how it holds up. I'll probably be giving him Gunfighter II's double-barrel gun, because it's not like he needs to have 2 guns anyway, when Archenemy doesn't have any.

Of course, now I'm probably going to need to go and rummage in my storage shed to see if I can't dig up my Scourge.

Decent, the glue they used was crap and I had to touch it up in places. The plastic also felt very rigid, almost to the point of being brittle. I would take pics but I already sold the set. (Not because of quality, it was just too big)

Oddly enough, I had problems with an FH figure once, and BBTS told me to fuck off it wasn't a problem (the arm was loose as fuck). FH I contacted as a last resort, and they sent me not only a whole new arm assembly, but a video on how to swap it out properly. I'm not saying this would be a typical situation, but I was impressed. Try contacting whoever you bought it from first (BBTS, toydojo, TCP, TFS, whatever) and see if they can hook you up with a replacement figure, and if not, try FH themselves on Facebook or twitter or whatever they're on.

I honestly feel like the simplicity is refreshing. I'm all for brazen engineering but some designs just don't need it. I still think Laser Prime is one of the greatest TFs ever.I was initially disappointed that FH Archenemy didn't go for the same proportions.

Fiddling with it now after a few years, I actually like it better. No idea where the lube and fragile shoulders comment comes from, I think there might just be a bad batch that came later unfortunately.

While I've never found myself a fan of the Bayformer look, I can at least appreciate here the work that they're putting into this thing. For those that are buying tickets to ride this train, I think it has the chance to make 2020 really something special.

This. I mean, FansProject was doing Headmasters years before Titans Return was probably even conceptualized. I love Code's transformation, even if he's got just about the most limited articulation you can have. Well, except for the last part where I can only sometimes get his undercarriage slotted in properly so that his wheels roll correctly.

I think it's also probably why, while they have so very few releases over all, that Master Made is kind of my low-key favorite company. You can still tell that their products are a certain character, even if it seems like they started designing them, and then just kept on designing past a point they should have stopped at. The small little adjustable mouth that they gave Caesar was a really nice little touch. I'd probably rank him higher in my purchases this year if 1) he wasn't going against Double Evil, and 2) his legs didn't squeak like the Dickens.

Also I'll say it again, 3rd party braves are needed. There's a gigantic market for this shit and to super minipla have shown that you can sell this stuff easily just by throwing some joints into an ancient transformation gimmick.
