Walgreens here chose not to stock him. They never stock their exclusives. If I want them, I have to camp online. Well, one day, I was checking for Siege Ratchet, and this bozo came up for $11. So I bought two to reach the free shipping threshold.
A few weeks later, amidst all the shrieking about eBay scalping them for $50, I decide to take them to my last toy show of the year. I have so much backstock from my distribution account that closed in 2017 it's not funny. I was looking forward to making 9 whole dollars on them. Yes. Priced right at normal retail. $20.
Hardly anybody even looked at them and _nobody_ picked them up.
I've seen this every single year since 2015. People are tearing their hair out over toys and crying rivers of tears about scalpers. Yet, I can put the hottest toys on my table at retail with complete confidence that I won't have to sell at that price because people are so dick-blasted poor.
Retro Wolverine, retro Storm, clone Obi Wan, DCM Jessica Cruz, 90s Rogue, Siege Skywarp, Jim Lee Cyclops, SS38 Prime, MOTUC Teela, all of them sat at retail. I was tempted to put my SOC Lion Voltron out as well if I'd had room in the truck.
