Agumon pops in through the Action Alliance's supercomputer and weakly asks for help; Dr. Light sends Max's Mercenaries a program, MegaMan.exe to investigate but sucks the rest of the team into their own computer; Sora's summon: Mini-Tron glitches around Kingdom Command HQ and starts glitching their computer which also sucks part of the team in as well.
All three teams land in scattered areas of the Digital World, and notice its floating islands, odd creatures and gridlined horizons. They later learn that Sark has gotten hold of the Chaos Crystal of Technology, which mysteriously digitized away after the Koopa Kids lost to the Kids Next Door. Sark has used the power to enslave an army of Digimon and now wields the newly-constructed Cyber Keyblade, which he will use to take over the world's computers and bring his army into the real world
