That's because clearance prices are dictated by how long a given product has been on the shelves, and the ratio of a given shipment that gets sold over a given period of time. So if you've got a target where everyone goes all the time, then the shelves will be cleared a lot faster and figures won't be spending enough time on the shelves to get clearence'd.
To oversimplify it; if a toy is on the shelves for a month solid, that's 15% off. Two months is 25%, and three months is 50%.
UNLESS that toy is part of a case that 50% or more gets sold, then it'll just fester there until Hasbro gives the all-clear to clearence the whole stock make room for the new stuff.
This is why my store, and probably yours too, is full to brimming with Seige Shockwaves without a single Ultra Magnus in sight, because they're one each to a case, and Ultra Magnus getting sold counts as 50% of the case.
The Seeker Trio is just the one box in a case and those released about two months ago, so that's probably getting clearenced everywhere if it hasn't sold already, and if it's at 15% or less, then one guy happened to buy one within the last month.
