So, I went to shop some hot wheels here in Nevada and a retailer told me that there is a new Hot Wheels line called Beast Racers, practically they are cars that transform into animal/beasts or so. He said they will release this year and they might be shown at Toy Fair.

Apparently due to various cost issues, a full Dodge charger would have been prohibitively expensive in South America so they rebadged a smaller Dodge Dart into a Charger in that region.

Apparently they became collector cars down there and now cost quite a bit.

There's some Target exclusives that have fat wheels, not the same style as that Camaro though. There's a few cars that use the modern 5 spokes in the series and those things seem to be shelf warmers, though.

Generally I visit the stores with cars many times per week at my local home town, since it's a big supermarket for everything, and always check the shelves for restocks or new cases. There are a few nearby towns as well I visit, but more rarely, maybe once a month, unless a new case has hit in my hometown, then I check the nearby area for new cases as well.

Sadly for me, the stores do not restock with each new case, but mostly only when they have to so at most it's pretty random on what you have and where. Kinda neat that you could technically hit a super TH from way past rather than just the current ones, but also makes most of the visit a disappointment when there is nothing new at all on the shelves.

For instance out of the 2 big stores the other has had the same 15 cars in the designated small Hot Wheels corner of the toy aisle, warming the pegs ever since fall last year and I think they are waiting for there to be 3 or something left until they restock the shelves, and they probably have 2019 cases just sitting in the warehouse, just waiting for people to finally buy the cars nobody wants rather than adding more in at a steady rate.
