Galaxy's edge. It ran me about $140 for hilt and blade and it looks good as fuck besides the top having no diffuser paper. Also is meant for both display and play, the blade can take a decent beating.

Large blade or short? I did the Savi's workshop one and that gives you the middle blade. I'm trying to get a gauge of if I care to buy the bigger one with my next saber or not.

Large blade. I was gonna go medium but honestly the large blade looks so much better. I feel like the medium would work best for Ahsoka's smaller blade and for the Yoda blade whenever that releases. The small is probably for the little kids. Definetely pick up a large blade if you have the means. Do you use your blade for play or just display?

I love it. It's what I think of when someone says lightsaber. The one he has in AOTC is basically the same just with minor differences, but I don't like the E4 version of his saber. It looks so generic.

Same. I got the Black Series one and it’s just got such a nice feel to it. How different/customizable is the Galaxy’s Edge one? Can you remove the blade? I wish the Black Series had that option.

Yes, you can remove the blade and it's super simple. To insert you push and twist and to remove you twist and pull. There's even a little cup you put in when the blade isn't there so that way it keeps dust out. Post a pic of the black series one? I haven't seen it before. What's the material and how does it feel? Can you use it for play?

I've got the Black Series Luke ANH saber. It's pretty cool. I just wish the blade was removable. My brother is going to Disneyland in a few months and I'm tempted to have him buy me a Galaxy's Edge saber. If I do that I may sell the Black Series one.

Yeah, they got a lot of shit from fans relabeling Anakin's/ANH ESB Luke's saber as Rey's Saber after TLJ came out. The back pedaling is kind of hilarious.

It basically is the look of the hilt after being ripped in half in the 8th movie. It has burn marks and stuff and a leather band across it. It was meant to go with the story and theming at Galaxy's edge, since the park is canon and takes place during the sequels. They'll tell you at the shop that it's been passed down from generation to generation and somehow it's in Rey's hands now.

Lightsabers are awesome, but I wish there were better crafters out there. I got my first one back in 2013 from Ultrasabers. The Arbiter, it's long as fuck and pretty cool. Stopped working after about 3 years, had to send it in the get fixed. Got another one called Revanchist from Vader's Vault that sound card died after 6 months of shelf life. Waiting to hear back from their CS department now. You'd think these extremely expensive toys would be built to last.

I've had my first saberforge for about 3 years now. Only problem I had was the wiring for one of my LEDs overheated the wire causing it to split in two. But that was most likely due to moisture because I'm in a humid area and it was repairable with some soldering.

Obviously. But then again, Nostalgia Critic doesn't understand it either. It's a very limited usage clause generally for purposes of demonstration or critique, nothing more. Using someone else's property without permission for personal benefit isn't "fair use" and you can only use so much of it- 20 minutes of combined footage in your 25-minute review is beyond pushing it.

I actually just looked that up the other day. Apparently a lot of rubbing alcohol will do the trick, specifically the pads you get in a first aid kit. Or if you dont want to go that route, magic erasers will also do it.

It apparently happens because they spray the rubber with a matte clear coat and the clear coat is breaking down causing the tackiness.
