just got the Neca ED-209 and I feel it is pretty underwhelming for that price. It looks fine but it has very limited articulation and it doesn't come with instructions plus some odd design choices which is why I gave some importance to it not coming with instructions.

Is there a better ED-209 Out there? Same scale or 1/18 prefered.

It's a pretty awesome piece. I don't know what more you could've expected at the pricepoint, single use molds with all that detailing, plus electronics, gotta make costing choices somewhere.

But no, there are no other ED-209's out there except Hot Toys.

THere is a Reaction ED-209 in the works, Hiya will probably make one with them now doing Robocop figures (just shown those humanoid drones form the remake) so ED-209 (classic and remake)is a no brainer

Like the rocket launcher thing. It's kind of wobbly and it sort of moves, but should it move? is it just not glued? I don't fucking know because there are no fucking instructions.

Also, pic related. In yellow those little pieces are not glued and can fall off or be removed...why?

In red, those little flap/wing things look like they move but they don't, or they do but they are stuck and don't want to break them, again I don't know because THERE'S NO FUCKING INSTRUCTIONS.

Where did you get this ED exactly? Because the only one I know of that doesn't have metal pins where you circled is the China KO.

also the missile launcher should move up and down on a slide.

Nothing beats the Hot Toys. I was obsessed with this movie as a kid in the late 80s but never could find the toy at the time. As an adult I gave in and got the Hot Toys and it's my grail.

You don't need instructions. It's on a track, it slides. If it's stiff use a hair dryer to heat it up. You're freaking out over nothing.

Because they're parts that plug into place, there is no why, it's just how it's constructed. Again, you're freaking out over nothing. You're looking for reasons to panic.

You don't need instructions for articulation points. The flaps move. If they're tight use a hair dryer to heat them up, it's a new toy, some parts will be stiff right out of the box. I get you're flustered, but most of it's you doing it to yourself unnecessarily.

Do you really believe this is actually going to get released? The fact that they had more figures announced and then dropped from Robocop leads me to believe that ED-209 won't see release. I would love to be wrong, I desperately want one.
