The metal fusion-masters Beyblades were, hands down, best toys when they were coming out. Having pic related back in 6th grade, meant you were running things. The designs and details of these little things are amazing. What are your Beyblade memories and opinions?

Grew up with the original series anime and toys back in the early 2000s, living in area where they were popular among kids. I still think that these and B-daman are the best toys.
Personally I think the original series, especially the HMS beyblades, were the best at least design wise. I was never particularly fond of the designs after the original series, they look so gaudy, round and overly designed now.

I feel this is exactly why I could never get into MFB. They got too abstract for me.

I remember having these bigass rubber-covered spinning tops as a kid which absolutely wrecked other beyblades and were so fun to use. I can't find anything like them online tho.
