>>7945274>>7946958What in the fuck? Completely missed this. I wasn't online two days, come back and they just drop this figure out of no where AND it's already gone? I've been waiting for this figure since they teased it back in 2014. In fact, it was literally the SECOND one:12 Batman they teased after the original Frank Miller TDKR version. Like seriously, what the fuck, I know it's just a toy, but why the hell would they put it up on a random day of the week with less than a day's notice for such a popular figure? I'm looking through various threads and it sold out in 4 hours? BBTS had them and those sold out too? I could see if I was away for a month, but less than 24 hours is just insane.
It's ridiculous. They knew how in demand this Keaton Batman was, collectors have been clamoring for this for years. We had to endure variant after variant of all the Mez-flair releases and all those little Mez-itz and the super deformed figurine thing, all of which were wide releases. THEN, they finally release it and it's a limited edition exclusive? There's not even a convention! Why not mass produce it or atleast keep the preorder window open for a couple of weeks? I just don't get it. This isn't some random, Mez-flair release or a color variant, this is a fucking MOVIE Batman that everyone and their grandma wants. And already I see listings on ebay scalping it for $250+ and it's not even out yet. I'm so fucking sick of this.
Then gotta love how they switched out the body. I was at SDCC and saw the prototype in hand. How they did the suit was clever and gorgeous, the Mezco reps there were hyping it up how they've perfected the cloth suit and armor overlay. It wasn't too bulky, the proportions were perfect and it looked JUST like the film. They were praised for it. Now they've scrapped it and gone and switched it to a "seamless body with skeleton armature"? It's not even an action figure with 1:12 clothing anymore. What the fuck is their problem?
