because currently animation world is ruled by a small circle of newcomers. Most of USA animation is made by yesterday Calarts students that are active on twitter.
Many of tem usually lurk on twitter and if you say something bad about current animation, chances of getting into animation field will go down VERY fast.
Personally i work with videogames (animating monsters and other cool creatures-enemies) and i dont mind not working with cartoons. The cartoon animation field is ultra lame these days.
You have either
1) retarded weaboo moe-shit animation from japan
2) retarded kiddie humour animation from calarts students
the trend will be up for 5+ years so you better chose videogame animation
