One of the cool things about the original trilogy (and the prequels) is the fact that characters actually change clothing.
They wear parkas, they wear desert gear, they wear jungle gear, they gear up from farm boy to jedi warrior.
They look DIFFERENT.
Hell how many outfits did Padme wear?
The new hotness...isn't.
It's all drab browns and an occasional black outfit. But the characters never really change what they wear. (At least Poe wears a flightsuit sometimes.)
Why the hell would people want 2 or three figures that all all (pretty much) in the same drab shit?
How did no one ever think about this and actually DO SOMETHING.
One of the only changes Rey has is Sith Rey and I have heard of nothign like that coming down the pipes.
Hell, she should have had a Labyrinth-style princess dress when she was mind melding with Ben Swolo
