They're bootlegs I bought a while ago. Though the quality is almost on par with lego, so I made some minifigs with them. I believe the brand is Sembo. They have a massive list of different japanese/chinese themed stalls. All are really well made high quality bricks. I ordered the first ones they made but they have a bunch more now (which are on their way)

I posted about it on /pbbg/ if you're interested.

Why not reuse it?
See how the new Marvel mech use the front of the Nexo mech bricks, but not the body.
And if you look at the bricks it comes with, it really looks like it is made for the box as interior.

I have the Great Hall set. It's okay, the spire is tall, and the build is interesting, but it's just got a ton of figures that didn't really need to be there. It could also do with having more play features too. The sticker sheets aren't awful, but there are some big ones. I did the set in about 5 hours, but I was watching Youtube at the same time. The gem colouration in the instructions is a little confusing at times, too.

Overall it's a nice set, but some of the side builds, like the Basilisk, and the Mirror are just not needed. For the price, too, I'd personally like to see more parts in the set, but it does come with 10 minifigs I guess.

I also have the Hogwarts Express, and the build is alright, but I'd have rather them have a one sided platform and put more effort into the actual locomotive, as it's a little lack-luster. If you're interested in the sets, buy them, you'll enjoy the build, but they were off the mark in a few important areas I feel. Just buy them at a reduced price, as you'll feel like you got what you paid for that way.

If you turned the bottom of that joint sideways, you could make wider feet that'd make the whole thing look more stable and sturdy, and the added forward/back articulation might help with poseability.

The thing is it's plenty sturdy/stable as-is, and also has a decent amount of forward/backward articulation because there's extra rotation where the ball joint connects to the lower leg.

I just got this set (used) for Christmas. Some of the POLICE stickers were still on the original paper. Once I dusted it off, the 4x6 windscreen was amazingly pristine. It honestly looks like it came out of a brand-new set.

Still disagreeing, it felt more like a Friends-related set trying to be heavy on story (also basically 'For Girls') so using the Minidolls feels more appropriate. Same with the Disney Princess/Frozen sets you see in stores.

So far I’ve got a disturbing amount of Technic and car/wheel parts. I blame my brother, obsessed with cars as he still is.

I’ve still got the idea for a LEGO Towers (the app) inspired building, with a twist of it having a brick background all the way up. And you can turn the display around to reveal an identical-looking tower except the background, building and denizens are all monstrous/spooky-looking. (Hidden Side-inspired.)

I have used it for a few mocs, after seeing a microscale GARC tutorial. Works pretty well.
It's probably best to see on pic related (the orange stripe at the feet, red visor and black bars for the cockpit). These were very basic experiments, I've used it on other stickers as well, but I try not to overdo it.

I like the color swapped X-Wings.
I kinda did the same. I replaced the orange on the original Poe's X-Wing with the blue from the Resistance X-Wing.
But I didn't use put the orange onto the Resistance X-Wing. Instead I BL'd all the parts (and then some) in Green and turned it into Corran Horn's.

When I was a kid I'd throw together a shitty car and play with it for hours. Now I spend hours putting together a car, then it sits on a shelf until I need the parts. Lego's still fun but it's the building rather than playing, I'm pretty much making toys I would've loved to have as a kid.

So, maybe try that? What did you like back then? Cars? Castles? Spaceships? Build your own.
