>>7969525Doesn't the Jumptrooper have the original BS Stormtrooper body, that's even worse than the clone body? I doubt Hasbro will ever change those two bodies. Rex got improved elbow articulation, but can anybody tell me if there even was a second figure that used his arms? I think there wasn't a single one.
I want to say the BS clones are ok, simply ok. Articulation could be better but if you will get like 10 guys and most stand around in neutral position you might as well get some to fill out ranks and legions you like.
Figuarts has better articulation but the missing level of detail (like no elbow straps and especially the fucked up Phase 2 helmet design) ruin it for me, only thing I want to recommend is their Phase 1 helmet and the matte finish on the armor.
My personal choice is the Bandai model kit. Perfect helmets (of which you get two per figure), best articulation while not omitting any detail. Only downside is you either have to customize for commanders and legion color variants or have to mix them with different companies. Their size is comparable to Black Series which means Hasbros commanders don't look out of place next to the model kits but the only Figuarts clone I own has to kneel permanently so his shortness doesn't jump out at you.
I can also vouch for bootlegs of Figuarts and Black Series, they don't have any noteworthy defects to their respective original aside from parts falling off the Figuarts that you can just glue back on yourself and the toes being fused.
