>>7967430You have to understand that stretch toy technology has come a long way since the 70s. The Mr.Fantastic you're talking about was made by toybiz, and I remember hearing nothing but how low quality it was from other stretch toy collectors. He was particularly vulnerable to heat and tearing. Some stretch toys fair netter than others, look to the recent character toys re-release of stretch Armstrong as an example. He's very sturdy and he takes a beating, and compared to his contemporaries he holds up a lot better. In my experience the goojitzu line falls in the former category. They're very durable and they hold up well after a bit of play. Some anons have mentioned the paint rubs off easily so be wary of that. If you intend to buy one as a fidget toy, then they'll hold up perfectly. It should also be noted that different characters in the line up have different innards. Some are stuffed with kinetic sand which allows them to hold their poses, others are stuffed with gel, beads, or slime. It depends on what texture you like best really. I recommend the line, especially because of their affordable price, good scale, and high quality. They're close to the size of classic tmnt figures.
