>>7976858I really wonder what kind of person likes to buy all that Star Wars samurai-esque shit.
I want real Samurai and while we are at it some better knight options. Other historic soldiers, I guess at least Spartans are covered by the 300 Leonidas that exist.
>>7972623More civilians for a real life display. I got some business suit guys through Mafex Nolanman but I kind of want a few generic, modest females, too. All of the stuff I can find that comes closest to my taste are either anime schoolgirls (bit the bullet with Figuarts Ran finally but rather wish I would have been a weeb during the time of Casual Saber Figma) or silicone body dolls but those are missing clothes and heads. Some guy with a nice longcoat would be nice as well. I have a feeling I might just need to get into dolls for that stuff, it's just hard deciding on the clothes and I wish there would be figures based on some property that could pull double duty for some named property so I feel like it is more worth it, like how I do with Ran, Tuxedo Mask, TDK Two-Face and Scarecrow.
I find it weird how rare 1/12 scale historical and modern soldiers are. There are extensive doll lines and even some 3 inch stuff but with the rest of my collection being 6 inch I just wonder where they are. The one doll company that I found also only makes like two german soldiers in a weird forrest camouflage and 3 american Vietnam war soldiers. Where are all the Hitlers and grey longcoat Germans? Something like a realistic Kerberos Panzer Corp (I already have the weirdly tiny Revoltech). My wish would be to combine that with an Indiana Jones line but that surely won't happen after the Crystal Skull line bombed.
LOTR needs a 1/12 scale line extensive like Star Wars Black Series and deserves the quality of Figuarts.
