At a certain point it isn't a matter of money anymore, it becomes a matter of personal investment in something. If Randy gave as much of a shit about small soldiers as he does TMNT, we would have the entire line up by now. You can see this point exemplified in their TF2, Half Life, and Portal lines too.
The fella that owns Mondo made the company because he always wanted to put out an Iron Giant figure. He eventually got to obviously, but if you look over at Randy his passion is tmnt. Everything else is secondary by comparison. Honestly this topic reminds me alot of SOTA toys. Everything that company put out, they did out of a genuine adoration for the licenses they nabbed. Darkman, Toxie, Tarman, Street Fighter, hell Jerry was such a fan of street fighter he wanted to make an entire Darkstalkers line. Unfortunately it all folded.
