>>8012312looking through the pictures, it looks like Scizor will have articulated pincers and arms, though I could be wrong. Probably just a swivel for the arms, but better than nothing. Also, those mid-evo Gen 1 starters look great. Don't think I've ever seen them as well as they are here, just sucks that one would be forced to buy separate 3-packs for them.
of course, there are two major concerns:
1. paint applications - they've been really shotty thus far and the lack of sculpt detail in eyes (eg. Haunter, Gengar and Marowak) leave a lot to be desired. Those could easily rub off, especially in the hands of their targetes audience: kids.
2. distribution - the distro of their products has been questionable with some products not even hitting shelves in some areas (personally, I don't ever recall seeing Dragonite, Gyarados and Battle Feature figures in store). This also leaves people with few options for finding a figure with satisfactory paint applications. We also don't have a time table for their next wave of releases, which in term, means it will be a rush to find the more anticipated figures before they get scalped. There's other issues here and there, such as how top heavy some of the products are and how they can't stand without support, but that's just being nitpicky.
WCT is doing decent work, but they have tons of work to do on the business end. Hopefully the Jazwares acquisition will help mend that issue. What do you guys think so far?
