>>7982077I think you're baiting but ima break it down for the kids who never see /tfg/ as a sane place
>The figures uses the same mould and the same parts and the joints are so ugly and cheapEfficient toy manufacture may often reuse assets from past figures to cut down on cost, be it a whole figure with a new paint job (marvel legends for example or star wars black series), with some slight modifications such as a new head, additions such as accessories, all while being manufactured at a cheap cost because unlike higher end figures like hot toys or one of bandai's chogokins the more you make the more they cost (high end figures that don't sell somehow can be a bad thing so they make them in lesser amounts which can have the advantage of being better quality as less chance of mold (not mould) degradation)
>but they still buy them because of some character they want to see in figure formJust like funko pops anon, we just want shit and we'll buy it regardless of the rationality
I mean anyone over 12 shouldn't be buying anything classed as a "toy", and bandai's chogokins are still classed as "toys" and hot TOYS even has it in their name, yet here we are.
Now shut up and enjoy your plastic crack
