I'm looking forward to seeing all the Sentinel toys I'll never be able to afford, especially if they show off more of that SRX.
Hope Koto show off more FAGs and MDs, along with continuing putting out really cool things in their MSG and Hexagear line, and really hoping for some more SRW from them too.
Also fingers crossed for some DarkAdvent prototypes now that their 2nd release is out this year, and maybe seeing some of the MoMo kits too.

I am not really excited this year.
Mobages drown out nearly every other license and fun offbeat stuff like Table Museum has more or less shriveled away.
The only hopes I have are for one or two cool Figma announcements that don't get cancelled, some more news on those loli blank body kits and something neat from the Daibadi table.

I see where you coming from. From the last couple of years it feels like the big players have decided to just go for the lowest common denominator and its become all chibi shit and fate crap. The last two years I spent the least on this hobby because no one other than Kaiyodo puts out anything interesting. Mafex has stepped up though. I'm hoping we see the rebirth of Medicos and GSC actually puts out some non fate shit but well see. The current state of this board sure as hell makes it no fun to discuss though.

wonderfest, and the current toy landscape is boring. I can't imagine flying overseas to look at garrage kits, instead of waiting an extra 30 minutes to see the 700th iron man/batman mold.

Companies aren't willing to take risks or lower price points, so theres basically no innovation. every premium figure I look at is just a rehash of figuarts engineering with a few added joints. Perhaps we have hit peak toy, but in that case companies should lower their prices.

I'm glad that these are finally painted but they look pretty mediocre. The original Play Arts figures from like 2004 almost look better. Hopefully they're not super expensive but I'm completely expecting $75+ per figure.

Not to say Deku looks perfect, because there's improvements to be made.
But by the time Deku wears that costume, he's had quite a few gains, muscle mass wise, you could probably get away with that level.
In my opinion, his torso is just a bit too boxy, though. The transition from his pecs to his waist.
He looks great in action poses, though.

so many stuff i like from this shindig however couple of things that doesnt make sense to me. why cant they just use the internet to sell their goods instead of having to buy it somewhere else in a recast version. im mostly talking about resin. then comes to the issue of having them painted, where are you going to find someone skilled enough to paint stuff with such high amount of detail. the event in general just feels like some elitist club and not surprised things get copied so fast from there. im just saying, if i were in the business of making money i would use e-commerce and have them sold. if some chinese dude inside a garage can mass produce your one offs in good detail, you should be able to as well.

I dunno, I think it's different enough from the first design, which is pretty much a tracksuit.
The second and third suit are not much different, though.
It helps that the Amazing Yamaguchi Deku also comes with lots of accessories.
