I dont buy MPs anyway but Tigatron looks great but I'm surprised it wasn't Rattrap or Rhinox.
Arcee looks meh.
I want to see what articulation and what poses Devastator can pull off but it looks fine to me.
The Construticons at the things I'm most happy about, it's a shame they didn't go full crab mode with Overload but it still looks pretty cool and I think they nailed Scrapper.
I don't think anything else will be appearing transformers wise.

Car mode looks good. Robot is... okay, I guess. The backpack is marginally better than the deluxe but still bulky. The arms look as bad as Rouge and the hands are actually many times worse. They look like Terminator hands.

Some company will release replacement arms for this thing, it's inevitable.I'll buy the inevitable THF KO with those arms included but it doesn't look good enough to spent the $150+ official MP price will be on this thing.

The fact this is coming also kills any chance Earthrise has of being the G1 model. If they make a pure G1 Arcee that's as good or better than the T30 mold, no one's going to want the MP.

If it wasn't for some questionable color layout choices and those outside-hanging wheels I'd get Leia, even if her car mode looks like it was stripped for parts. I have yet to be temped to replace LG-10.

They have a good Arcee already(T30 with a backpack that comes off), they just refuse to release it in the colors people want. Platinum release colors over LG-10 colors never should have happened.

Arcee with a display stand makes sense considering the counter balance she's got and the tiny tiny feet she sports. I imagine she's a repeat of SH Figuarts Jessie: standing without the display arm will be possible, but the center of balance is really off and it'd be required for more dynamic poses.

Mps are nice to own when done well. I think stuff till right before the recolored ones are all decent. The Inferno molds are amazing. I still want to get Inferno and Grapple as I only have Artfire and I love the mold so much.

Because of Tigatron's nature as a repaint of Cheetor, even making the figure a different size means that they could reuse all the engineering they put into MP Cheetos and get him done with less work.

Yeah I called this years ago when Cheetor was first revealed. In-show Tigatron's chest, arms, and pelvis were the same size as Cheetor, but his beast legs(and thus robot legs) and head were larger. The could reuse the main complex part of the engineering and just change the extremities since those could be any size and still work with he transformation.

what is interesting, though, is that it seems to use the actual Beast Head and not a fake one like Cheetor or Dinobot. MP Cheetor's beast head actually tucks behind the back, I'm guessing with this one they forgo having a robot torso and instead the beast head goes through the front. Makes it way more pleasing.

Tigatron and arcee were the first bad Botcon exclusives because they were so desperate to use established characters, and also picked those molds as a flex because they were rare molds. There was no reason not to use the more fitting transmetal Airrazor(a bird would've been more appropriate for Arcee) or the Transmetal Cheetor mold for Tigatron(works as a generic big cat, and the robot mode head looks older and less youthful than Cheetor anyway), but those molds were too common. I still wonder why they thought tiger-headed Tigatron was a good idea.

Not really surprising, as Tigatron uses the same head model in both modes instead of stretching/flattening it. I was expecting that to be the case if there's was no need to change its size.

That version mold is part of the reason I wanted a regular Tigatron version of it, I love the idea of the BW Cheetor design as a the BW Datsun Brothers mold(like how Terrosaur is the Beast Seeker). The Ravage remold is still cool but I don't like it for Tigatron.

Arcee's looking alright so far, few issues with the head though, For one it looks too long more oval than circular like it should be. The lips look a bit big, and her face is too pink, it should be more lavender hopefully as we see more photos it won't look as bad.

I'm guessing they have their own mold, the bumblejumper mold was designed as an hybrid for bee and clif, theres no other reason for it to have the "coil biceps" that only bee had in the cartoon and mp toys.

Same. I was debating selling mine since it's the rare Movie The Best-style deco released for AoE that goes for stupid money these days - literally could have bankrolled the entire SS set with the right buyer.
In the end I decided not to. I love the Bay constructicon designs too much. They're such oddball designs and they all have so much personality. I want one set to display combined and another as individuals, but I don't have room for two copies of the SS set. Hell, I barely have room for one! So the Legends stays.

Yeah it cheats in a lot of places, you can notice it a lot with Mixmaster when the head appears. I think they've done a pretty good job with the SS Devastator, at least on a retail budget.
Plus there is that 3P MMP Devastator being made too so there is a option for people who want 100% screen accuracy.

Though in my option I think the individual Construticons in the 3P are lacking, I think that has to do with them focusing on the combined mode more.

He's got 4 modes now. granted both the base and the cat mode are parts forming. But the base mode is one of the nicest bases we've gotten outside of a titan Class figure. It's on par with the G1 Micromaster bases in terms of playability.
