The first and last time I ever browsed TFW, one fucker in the MP thread was legit rationalizing the fact that his own kids would have to eat nothing but ramen and rice for a week so he could afford MP-36. Too much of this fandom is just geewunners who reflexively buy anything that was a character from a 30-year-old cartoon, just to jam it on a dusty shelf. We joke about hating on geewunners, but these threads are fucking tame compared to any other forum I've been to, where just about everyone is a 30-40 year old disaster of a human living in borderline poverty in a cave lined with plastic.
A good giveaway is if you ever hear someone who, as a grown adult, still fucking hates Hot Rod for getting Optimus Prime killed, they're probably too far gone to ever be reintegrated into proper society.
