Um...You do realize that even a 1/12 scale Bruce would be as big if not bigger than the Neca Queen Alien figure right? Not saying it’s impossible as a product to sell, but starting with the biggest and most costly-to-produce figure of the line without knowing if the line itself will sell well enough isn’t the best idea. At the same time, the human figs might end up selling abysmally and the line will get canned before the shark ever can be made.

That being said, I would pre-order a Neca Bruce instantly.

The contrast is that a NECA Bruce would need nowhere near as many parts as the Queen, and NECA regularly produces 1/4 scale figures for under $100. I think they could do it for under $80, still risky but I think a bigass shark would have crossover appeal. I think the bigger issue is NECA buckling down to buy the license for what's ultimately just a shark.

It'd help if they even finished anything they started, they did this with the TF2 line. Made most of the cast with awkward joints, trashed scout and medic. team forever incomplete. Then they made l4d figures, only produced smoker and boomer, the tow least popular zombies, then canned the line. They made Resident evil figures, gave them no joints, still sold relatively well despite being so dated, then canned the line.

This company only cares about what they like and don't put in any thought to what people who buy the merch want. It'll only be a good release if they care about the property and even then their qc is notoriously shit for their joints.
