>>8021977I just watched the entire thing, because I want to do something similar, and I'm actually amazed at how little I liked the characters. Like every single character is just a bad guy to battle, some brand of edgy anti-hero, a semi-ironic joke character, an actual joke character, or russian. I don't get it. what's his obsession with Russia?
Production values are great for this kind of video, though. The lighting looks great, that fire effect on the bonfire looked amazing, and it looks like a lot of work was put into the scenery even if it's just a generic post-apocalyptic landscape. I also noticed that there was a lot of editing dedicated to avoiding having to make a walking cycle but I don't fault him for it, walking cycles are really fucking hard.
Fight choreographies were eh, but to be fair animating fights is really hard, and I honestly don't like how he feels like he needs to put blood into everything so people don't think he is a manchild.
I take issue with the writing the most, though. The ending in particular; he sets things up to have a moving scene but only two of the characters are into it? I feel like he is simultaneously treating Knuckles' death as a joke and as a tragedy. What's up with that?
