>>8027427selling on eBay sucks these days and the system deliberately works against you if you're a "small volume" seller, while they actively ban all new sellers on first listing without a stated reason, unless you call them to get it reinstated(but the ban message doesn't specify this).
You can list an item for $20 less than the cheapest listing currently up, cheaper than the last sold copy went for, offer clear photos showing the thing, full description, and faggots will watch list it but not buy it. They can't understand that a good bargain is right there in their grasp. Watchers seem to fall into certain categories
>poor people who watch 50+ things with the intention of buying 1-2 a week later, just assuming the item will still be for sale at a later date, like they think watching an item holds it for them or something>sellers gauging "market value" by watching items they plan to sell to see if yours sells, because searching for sold listings would make too much sense>bots>people hoping you'll send them a best offer directly if they watchMotherfucker the watch list isn't a hold service and if I want to drop the price I'll drop it for everyone, not just you. I only use the watch list myself if I plan to buy it within 24 hours, if I don't have the cash and won't have it for some time I don't go window shopping. I don't expect to be sent an offer either- and it happens rarely anyway. I've also tried sending those offers out multiple times before, only 1 was ever accepted because watchers are likely not interested buyers, so it's a waste of time.
Pricing it well below other active listings also seens to be more a detriment than an encouragement so I started going maybe $2-$5 off the next lowest listing instead, because people don't seem to care if I offer them a huge bargain. They're too stupid to strike while the iron is hot.
