It's a month and not everyone lives in US. For me it's cheaper to preorder from Japan. Even if it comes to Amazon here which is rare, it still works out to the same price. EB Games is way more expensive than the shipping from Japan. And other online stores are even worse.

More patient people can wait, other people are willing to pay 5-10 bucks more to get it early, and some people pay top of the line shipping to get it really early.

Its pretty funny, since they spent the entire series building Gohan up has having this hidden potential, possibly the most out of all of them, and then basically did nothing at all with it, other than the whole Cell thing. Vegeta is also legitimately a better character than Gohan too. He has had actual character growth throughout the entire series. Even if it was purely by accident on Toriyama's part, he made Vegeta well rounded and grow. 2020: Ultra Instinct Goku(for the body mostly), Demoniacal Fit ripped blue shirt SS Blue Goku, Jackie Chun, maybe but probably not Ginyu. Need to see how all of these actually end up though, i'm not preordering shit. Will probably end up getting 2 of them.

I just started collecting around September last year. Zamasu was the first one I ever bought. I've managed to get stuff like Yamcha and Tenshinhan and SSG Goku for good prices. Recently just got a second Super Vegeta so I could use the body to display the Blue Vegeta head.

I've almost got all the ones I want. I'm just wondering, should I buy a Figuarts Perfect Cell? I see a lot of people really don't like that one. I currently have a Dragon Stars Perfect Cell standing in my Figuarts collection and he looks alright and scales really well with them. I hear the Figuarts Cell is too small and doesn't look very good. But if I'm gonna get the premium color one, I wanna get it soon before prices get higher. But should I just not do that and instead wait for a possible 2.0 version?

Also with Ultimate Gohan. Get the convention exclusive or wait for a 2.0?

Kinda derpy in facial expressions. Not bad but not great either so kind of a boring middle ground. Bit too big to fit with Figuarts. Bardock is pretty cool though and is probably the best we have until the inevitable Figuarts.

I pretty much got the Saiyaman figure specifically because I think it looks much better with the non-helmet heads than any of the Ultimate Gohan figures do. I have mine displayed with the Super Saiyan head.

Definitely wait for a 2.0 for Cell. The body sculpt is scrawny and he's too small, as you've already surmised.

The Dragon Stars will do fine for now. If you want you can hit him with some matte topcoat to give that figuarts look.

I know for a lot of people, having yet ANOTHER Goku would be a waste. But what if they used UIO Goku as an opportunity to make a blue-shirt Goku figure?

Yes, the Awakening Goku figure has the blue shirt, but it's half torn off. It would be nice to have a version where the blue shirt is still intact. That's how he looked when he actually goes Super Saiyan for the first time. And when he fought Kefla. And when he turned SSB in the Broly movie. It could happen, especially since Demoniacal Fit teased making a blue-shirt Goku.
