Yeah, I stopped using them years ago after they fucked me over with an order, but I got back at them with paypal. Good to know they still haven't fixed their site, and their sales are completely awful now. I remember when some of the sales had products at 80-90 percent off, I remember even scoring some really good RD's for a few dollars.

It's been years since I bought from them too. I didn't like being pushed into PayPal and then I didn't like being pushed out of PayPal. Plus the new site is slow as molasses. It may actually be slower than iOffer was. And it's really no cheaper than BBTS these days either. Fuck HLJ.

Example: Mafex Wolverine

Anime Export's preorder price was $66.
HLJ is charging $71 on preorder and $79 on release.
So then you pay $20 EMS because you don't want to wait a fucking month and you're up to $91 minimum from HLJ.

BBTS, meanwhile, is $90 with $4 shipping for a grand total of $94. Oh no, BBTS is 3% higher!

On cheaper figures, the shipping _does_ put the price of BBTS.

Why put up with the horseshit of a slow site and questionable customer service for a vanishingly small savings at best? "Because you have a hate boner for domestic shops" is not a good reason.

Is broken down across an entire private warehouse order, for me. If I ship my PW, I usually go with EMS or Fedex, but the cost isn't 20$ for one figure, it's 36$ for 6 figures and a model kit. So let's just call that 6 items, for math simplicity: that's $6 shipping per item.
BBTS sucks a dick.

My last order from HLJ consisted of both Mafex comic Spidey and Wolverine, plus Two Blastoise Figuarts, and the EMS total was $30 USD. Now that has nothing to do with the shit sales of present day, but don’t go talking about things you don’t know about. I used BBTS once and probably will never use them again, took em a week to process and ship my one figure.

I almost never have EMS prices that low for that much shit, it's almost universally $30 for one or two figures.

HLJ has a shit website that barely works and their prices are tolerable except shipping eventually negates any major sales you can find.
