for the bigger ones it can be anywhere from $100-250

I couldn't get into MH the last time I tried, but this looks kinda cool? But probably not pushing a hundred cool. I'm still interested to see what they with the wings, I have the revoltech rathalos and I don't think it gets much better than that.

They had a rathalos hunter at one of the events last year, I only saw one pic from far away and it wasn't the focus of the picture but it exists as a proto at least.

need more details man. i find it rather odd this is the first i heard of this and that the only picture you seen of it had it not as the focus. any idea what event this could have been? and sure it may not have just been a garage kit or similar independent maker and seller? wouldnt be the first time i had my hopes up from someone mistaking a garage kit for an official figure.

Combination of bad design choices and Bandai not giving a fuck about quality control in their MA line.

It's not limited to MA either. Anything that's not DB or Kamen Rider has been getting worse and worse (yet more expensive) with each release.

By and large no, although Godzilla 2019 was fairly reasonably priced (when he went up for preorder).

The biggest issue is that every release is a qc gamble - which really shouldn't be the case when you're paying about $80-100 for.

If we go off both the name etymology and various design related discussions from over the years, Panther was definitely the primary focus for Nargacuga design. However there is no reason not to believe that bat is ALSO part of the design of it just like how Tigrex is Tiger and TRex combined in design. And since Nargacuga shares the same basic body type as Tigrex it makes sense it might be two animals meshed for the design.
