Rosario Dawson to appear as Ahsoka Tano in season 2 of The Mandalorian

>We have exclusively learned that Rosario Dawson will appear in The Mandalorian season 2 and are excited to report that she will be playing a fan-favorite character previously only seen in the Star Wars animated productions. Dawson will be playing a live-action version of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi padawan apprentice who appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. This would be the character’s first appearance in live-action.

Resistance ended, Clone Wars only has a few episodes left, and the ending of Rebels basically said the story is gonna continue. There is also an upcoming trilogy of Thrawn books which if the last trilogy was anything to go off of they are gonna be setting up things that will happen with his character on screen. It seems more than likely a Rebels sequel is what Filoni's animation team would be working on right now.
