This is actually true. The Walgreens at the corner of Stab and Shoot St. had the best toy selection. After that place closed down, I have never seen an exclusive again. Luckily, I got Thing and Silver Surfer before they closed.

because Walgreens isn't making enough cash off prescriptions(seriously, people on Medicaid or other similar programs give them basically nothing) and thinks their store is suitable to become the next Walmart. They don't have adequate space to be a toy store but got the companies to sell them exclusives regardless.

some do have the space, the some here in Pittsburgh are almost the same size as a Target. The issue is those get all their exclusives while the more RX style place -might- get a case.

IIRC Walgreens was trying to position themselves as a new toy hotspot or some shit so they struck up a bunch of exclusive deals starting with Agent Venom. The bad thing is, not all Walgreens seem to have gotten the memo--there are still some near me with no toy section whatsoever, not even dinky little dollar toys.

I paid $30 for one actually. i have many walgreenses that had them note in stock, but none of them had it at all nor even a pickup option. i was barely lucky to pay that much

Same here. I hurried and managed to get an order in during the five minutes Walgreens had them in stock. Then the price skyrocketed so fast I was afraid to open it. when the regular retail version was put up for preorder, I sold the Walgreens one for $100.

México never have a shit in stores, even the garbage is hoarded by the guys who work there.
If you go to "only toys" stores you can find some stuff but at stupid prices.
Lets say in Walmart a Legends cost like 18 dollars... In a toy store 25 and is mostly garbage, more variety but still garbage.

The Walgreens in my area has a dumb amount of legends and exclusives at all times. They never move the old stock and keep getting new stock. There at least 3 of every figure as far back as the punisher.
They even have a few daredevil with the yellow and red costume.
Same goes for WWE figures as well.
