I'm pretty interested in figures with this sorta look. Big head, big hands and feet. And while SD gundams are nice and all, I'd like to know if there's any non robot series like this. Any suggestions?

Azone has a few lines with those kinda proportions if you're into dolls. They're like 1/12 but obviously don't actually fit with other 1/12 figures due to their proportions.

I'm not OP, but I am also a fan of this aesthetic, and none of the suggestions so far hit right. Their limbs aren't the right proportions, they have to taper down, gradually getting thicker, and end in real chunky hands and feet. Roll is close, but getting a DD kit and this point is no joke pricewise, and I'm more interested in original designs anyway.

Shit, the vision in my head is so specific, and I feel like a picky asshole for being unhappy with all theses designs. If I were a better sculptor I'd try to start my own line. Also OP, >>8062787

Holy hell. Looked her up, just barely over 6" tall and $140. Am I really about to drop 140 bones on a character I don't know anything about, and honestly looks like it has so-so range of motion? This will take some thought. That's like, 1/6 figure money.

Okay, okay, true. I think DAs just rub me the wrong way--even though they come with a lot of parts (admittedly I have no idea what a lot of them are for), generally have unique sculpts, and have a lot more paint apps than AS, the $20 pricepoint still rubs me the wrong way for such a small figure.

Depends on how much your proxy charges of course, but seems to me like it'll work out to less than Amiami. Base starting cost is about 500 yuan, or ~$70 USD. Also keep in mind this is a preorder for Sept/Oct, so make sure you trust your proxy and they won't cut and run on ya.

That's slowly becoming the new baseline price for like Figmas and SHFs, so...it's really not unusual. I'd snap it up now if you want it, offerings from small/unknown companies like this can vanish quickly from the aftermarket sometimes.

Aah, yeah, I could see that. When I first got into this game like 10-ish years ago, you could get most figures for like $30 or under. The prices really skyrocketed after Japan's economy tanked, and they never really went back down.
