I would have been fine if they stuck with these but had actually put decent QC into them.

like 40% of the ones I bought had QC issues, and 3 of them were major.

The paint and details on these were solid, although some had qc issues. The SHF were just awful. I think think SHF is content doing dragonball and honestly imo the better variable action heroes look better than the average SHF db figure

I agree, with how well they've handled DBZ in recent years, I think they could do a good job with pretty much any battle shounen. Bandai is big, though, so bad tastes linger a long time. Master Asia's god awful release is probably the sole reason we'll never get that Char prototype they showed off years ago. I think they need to be more willing with giving IPs second chances.

I had the Luffy and I really liked it. I felt it captured the spirit of early, Alabasta-era OP well. That Ace looks terrible in the face, though.

then they didn't make any fucking figures until the time skip, and I'll never get Enies Lobby Luffy (which is his best look)
