My favorite lego dino has always been the Mosasaur since it came out. I then paired it up with this set for the ultimate fun in dino lego.

Pic related is my favorite, even though I don't have it due to the expensiveness of the set he comes from.

But the blue velociraptor I have from TLM2 sets is my little boy who deserves all the love from my bonkles.

I remember when I was young and wanted that trex, but there weren't any non-house-mortgage price sets that had it, so my local toy store were extra based and ordered the three parts that make him up especially for me.

Very wholesome story anon. I only had a classic dragon and some crocodiles when I was a kid but I've been collecting classic dinos as an adult. Pic related are all of my complete dinos. I really love the look of the molded eyes that these share with the dragon and crocodiles.

Picked this set up earlier in the year and I gotta say I'm in love with this trike. The scale, the articulation the color scheme it's all damn great. Those Dino Island Legos will always be peak LEGO though. I'm pretty sure I had every set. Between those and the build-your-own sets it was a good time to be a dino nerd.

Any rumors on new JW sets to come out with the netflix show?

This set is retarded. The Rex is huge and out of minifig scale, all those random mini builds on the back of the gate are stupid and serve no point. I'm almost glad it's so random and shitty so that there's still a chance of an actual decent big visitor center set some day.

Probably the design being so dated even when it originally released. I love the buildable dino but there's no getting around the fact that all you can really change on it is the head/limbs. Compare that to even the dinosaurs that came before it >>8079470 and I'm surprised they didn't get replaced sooner if it weren't for the fact that it was still cheaper in the meantime to machine a dewback/varactyl head.
