There is only one of the devil saviour figures out so far and it's a mixed bag. It looks amazing, and for the most part has great tolerances, but it does have a few floppy joints and the plastic quality is not on par with let's say master made or one of the high end 3p'ers.

I'll probably pass on it since reflector isn't a character I care that much about, and I'm pretty content with the Papatoys version.

Still, I think Magic Square figures are gonna be annoying to get for a while. The only good store that really carries them is TFsource and up till now I've had an easier time ordering them from China. Their seekers are out apparently but no one outside has them yet.

Is your issue with the seller not shipping or with the logistics slowdown? ShowZ is based in China too so it'll be going through the same freight routes. Unless your current seller died then there's not much point cross-ordering from them.

They stole some of my photography one time and used it to promote a preorder in their newsletter. I emailed them about it and they ignored me until I started calling them out in social media. Even then it was just an "oh, sorry". I've also ordered stuff from them that was showing as in stock, but I got a refund a week later saying that it was actually out of stock. Plus their prices suck, even for a domestic store.

I only know about Deathsaurus. They posted a bunch of new photos of him the last months so it's obvious they are about to finally finish him soon..ish.

Guess I might decide based on the money I have. Ordered too many expensive bots now so if there should be more than three I want near the end of the year or 2021 I might just get PX instead in the meantime to not be forced to buy all at once.

It's also partly due to IF deviating from geewun-sunbow. MFT and PT both seem to use reverse-engineering techniques so they'd have no issue KOing more of IF's stuff, it's just that they much prefer G1 designs and thus jumped on DX9 and MS KOs once they were available.

Though I think the big size matches well with even the newer comics too, Roche's Overlord was a damn titan. It was only later, for MtmtE, that they toned that down and "only" made him big (for me).

I wouldn't go as far as 1/1, mostly because IF dragon Megs is a quadruped, but they are undeniably similar, and it's not the first time IF has taken design inspiration from something another 3P has done. IF Kaon has those claws coming out the side of his chair mode that MMC made up for their Kaon.

Small update from Magic Square. Their production capabilities isn't back to 100% and they intend to focus on the production of newer designs, so there'll be less reissues of older items.

I don't really care for NA's Seekers. The jet move is sleeker and the bot has good proportions, but I find all the panel seams and hinges on the bot mode really distracting. The MS seekers are a little boxier but I think the design is more coherent overall because of it and that' more what I look for.

I ordered them a fucking billion years ago, I'm hoping I'll get them this week now that they've finally gotten out of china and cleared my customs, but I won't be surprised if it takes until the week after. I'll probably post extensively about them since it seems like fucking no one has them yet.

I hope to god I don't have some kind of QC problem with them or anything though. Haven't had problems with MS yet but I'm paranoid about anything I get lately because I do not want to deal with having to try and request replacement parts or anything for anything right now.

You should probably grab Newage Starscream for comparison before it sells out. If you still dislike it you can always flip it for a profit, but I think you’ll be surprised at just how much better-made their figures are than Magic Square’s.

I've got their Barricade and their Stepper repaints so I know what their quality's like. The paint and finish is a lot better on NA but overall I honestly just prefer MS's engineering. Like MS's Datsun blows the NA Datsun out of the water. Plus I really like the matte feel of the nylon plastic MS uses too, it's just a weird preference I guess.

I'll still probably try to get a NA Seeker just to see how it compares, like I have with the others. I was thinking maybe the ghost one or one of the weird gold ones they're doing, but I dunno. NA's seekers are more expensive lol.

I've got it and posted it a bunch here, it's currently in vehicle modes in a pile on my combiner shelf.

The robots are pretty good and the combined mode is solid. Only issue it has is the leg bots are kind of fragile in certain parts and minor breakages can be common, mostly to do with some pinned-in parts popping off. I had one pin pop off on my red leg guy but I just screwed it back in no problem.

So maybe don't get it if you're scared of making a big purchase on something that can potentially have problems, but if you're okay with having to make minor fixes it's a neat set. It sometimes goes around for a little lower than 200 though if you really want to shop around.

I struggled a lot when deciding what to get. I figured that I had plenty of Optimuses that have the traditional color scheme, so this one can be unique. Well with enough exposure to that particular shot set up, you'll learn that that's been posted from The Chosen Prime. They had an initial stock that they shipped out, and received their remaining stock in yesterday.

I made my own pre-order last year with bababobo with one of the very few eBay promo coupons that were put out. No word from him yet about it, but I'm not exactly concerned either.

Not that I could think of, definitely wouldn’t impact transformation or articulation.

I found they stopped coming off after i’d pushed them back on a few times, no glue required. Not sure why.

I don't think so, but mine stopped doing it like a couple hours after I opened mine up. They came off like maybe a dozen times the first day, and haven't once in the 4 years since. Same with commotus, so maybe give in a little bit?
