>>8084816I think I am following you, but just to be clear: It originated from a manga where the card game Duel Monsters was one of several games (like Dungeon Dice Monsters) that Yugi, the king of games, played. It wasn't until there was noticeable interest in Duel Monsters that Bandai (I think at first) made the cards, which turned into the TCG by Konami. Then the anime came, then the toys by Mattel (seen in OP) and others. Other companies still make toys, just nowhere near as much as Mattel was utilizing the licenses.
