Continuing anons talk of upgraded pretender/prime masters. My own brain is going kinda wild

Head master style mini robots, who turn into heads for the primary robot, these follow the Bludgeon formula of having a primary mode resembling their G1 shell, with an alt mode resembling the one possessed by their old inner robot.

The headmaster bit (here sized as a diaclone pilot for better engineering) then comes off and can pilot the power suit sized decoy armor, remotely controlled by the main bot. This armor can also form into a weapon or other sort of addition for either mode, the latter inspired by mega pretenders.

With MP-10 and MP-44 being a thing, I see alot of people shitting on MP-1. I personally think he looks awesome. I love the realistic vibe he's going. Am quite sad too that they removed the little monitor he had on his arm on later toys of G1 Optimus.

Alot of the Universe 2.0 molds among a few others. It was the more experimental and more creative phase of Transformers were they were trying out different things and seeing what worked and what didn't. People like to shit on them hard while not factoring how shit the economy was back then. It was honestly surprising seeing transformers with that much articulation as standard. It was through lines like this that we managed to get so many knockout figures in 2009-2010

The Spring 2020 waves probably won't hit burger mass release until fall or holidays. Summer 2020 holiday or Spring 2021, Fall waves (that's Overload and Sky Lynx) probably will get bumped to Spring or Summer 2021. The Bumblebee Adventures won't get released until fall or maybe holiday 2021 now. *MAYBE* some toys Summer 2021 if this settles down soon. Asia is the biggest problem going forward, not burgerland shutdowns, since that should start opening up by May, except for those bigger cities that breed plagues on a good year. No one is making anything right now. No one is ordering new product right now apart from specialty shops, who will still wait for Walmart and Target before they ever get jack. Hasbro already cuts as many corners as they can in order to make cost of production as cheap as possible. It's preciely because of clearance sales happening all the time that the default prices are higher. People care more about getting bargains with huge % cut than the actual price, so upon release almost everything is sold with a huge mark up to offset those sales down the line.

I've always liked MP-01 for what it does. The articulation isn't up to much and the transformation is a bit ramshackle, but he makes up for it in sheer spectacle and charm. I love all the little details and gimmicks he has, mostly because none of them intrude on the overall functionality of the toy. MP-10 solidly replaced him as my favorite G1 Optimus toy, but I still dig the big guy out of storage every now and again to fiddle with him.

Ratchet's nice, so are the Decepticon jet and combiner micromasters. Starscream's nice for his robot mode, and I like voyager Prime. Magnus is great, Shockwave if you can get him for cheap, and I guess Hound's somewhat alright. Firedrive's a good buddy for Hot Rod and I guess that's the entirety of my Siege collection, as you mentioned Megatron and Spinister already.

I'm not sure how much could be done with the hood of a cobra but that's always the safest route for snakeformers since the hood can be used for added mass.
Personally, I'm between viper and constrictor but I'm not sure how much different they would be when it would be a robot snake.

Neo came out when Beast Wars was on its last year in the US. Beast Machines would have reptiles as Maximals(though since Buzzsaw was initially going to be a PRedacon, I suspect the reptillian BM Maximals were going to be heroic predacons as well).

The Cerberos Maximal would probably have been planned as a heroic Predacon too if he'd made it into the Beast Machines toyline. I'm not disappointed he didn't however as he's not very stable as it is and the translucent plastic BM loved would not have helped at all. Also him being in RID meant he could be a Predacon, which is much more fitting of his Satanic robot mode design than him being a Maximal would have been.

The only saving grace in PR is that we can buy from US Amazon, Ebay and other US stores, unless we can't (and if we can't, it means we won't have access to it in any other region unless they establish an online store for PR, which almost never happens and is the reason buying from Walmart online is nearly impossible). If it makes you feel any better he's pretty shit. Getting the bat head into position for bat mode is a nightmare because the joint you need to not move is more loose than the joint you're trying to move and you can't get your finger in there to help it. Rumble is decent enough though.

The ROTF one would have been a fine stand in if it didn't age so badly. Also this isn't the old team that just made whatever the fuck they wanted to and this new one seems to have a huge fetish for 84-85 and MTMTE-Lost light so it's gonna be a while until we might get one.

There are a number of Japanese redecos of the Beast Wars bugs that have different colorschemes than the originals, so I don't know if you'd want those too or not.

There's also at least one Animorph that turns into an insect and there's a Taco Bell Animorph that turns into a housefly, but she's not that easy to come by on the aftermarket.

I'm not sure if it's specifically white (probably is) but yeah, I'd air on the side of caution for that way. Also, watch the shoulder tabs for where they go in to make the back of the vehicle. One of mine came under a lot of stress and broke the other day while transforming it back to bot mode.

This completely missed the point of what made shit like Cog and Brunt work so well. The Siege Weaponizers all split into relatively functional weapons as opposed to Ironworks who just becomes a bunch of blocks. It really sucks too because I actually really like his design, It's like the first genuinely original design we've got in a while and I love his blue-collar, industrial aesthetic but he really is a metaphor for this current wave of figures. He just feels barren. All he really has is one gun and a scoop arm. He doesn't even have the windmill/satellite which was one of the coolest parts about the original base.

The worst thing about the launcher, it's that his is meant to be the one the original toy and Exhaust use, so only having one of it just looks weird since that small launcher is meant to be complemented by second one. I'm 99% certain that the Exhaust version (if it exists) has a second one, and I'm also sure that the reason the toy has that hole on the back of the launcher isn't for the combining weapons gimmick, it's so you can attach the second launcher for vehicle mode storage.

As small of a character as he is, I absolutely adore the design. I finally got my hands on the MP at a con I went to a few months ago. Back to the launcher though, it really just doesn't fit Wheeljack as a single item if it's based on the toy. It's double or nothing, Hasbro. Just give it to us. Honestly, fuck Hasbro for making uniquie connections for Wheeljack's cannon. They did the same thing with Sideswipe and the Datsun mold. You could resolve most of these canon problems by just picking one from an old toy, but since they all use unique connections, you have to rely on third party accessories, mods or getting accessories for another figure of the same type.

I'm actually fine with these modulators (if that the correct term) being more in-line with Brunt, that is, a solid figure on its own with a decent alt mode, that can turn into a bunch of parts out of which only 2 will actually work well with other figures. Sixgun is kinda crap: lame bot mode, terrible alt mode, but nice as a weapons pack.

I think the fact that they did release some of the later era TFs (God Ginrai, Star Convoy) and they sold like shit and that still haunts them. Hell, Fort Max was a day 1 buy for me but I saw a ton of people cancel their pre-orders because Hasbro announced the fucking Titan class Metroplex between the announcement and release.

I would have liked to see Unicron like Lavos in Chrono Trigger, where Lavos was just 1 member of his entire species. They never explored it beyond that but I always wanted to see the planet eating thing trope end up with an army of them in a sequel. So an army of Unicrons would be cool as fuck. Make them like battle planets / shadow Raiders and different types of planets and name them after demons from the Solomon book

The biggest problem I have with the Siege Mirage is the fact the feet don't form the spoiler in favour of the arms, which just makes for some chunky ass block on the back of the racer. It may be asking too much, but my ideal Mirage would probably resemble something like Ocular Max's Sphinx.
