I could seeGoku with a scouter(Ginyu) getting a figure before any of the other GF members.

Frieza first form and Piccolo 2.0 are the safest bet to get figures from a continued Namek line.

love em or hate em, it was nice to have some extra releases between the official ones just to pass the time. Going back to the 1-2 month waits between figuarts is a drag. Especially at the moment when we're all bored out of our minds!

A while ago I posted this 2.0 Ultimate Gohan that I made using the body of an SSB Goku and the head that came with the Saiyaman figure. But an anon told me it was inaccurate because his little hair bang was on the wrong side. So I just went ahead and bought a real Ultimate Gohan so I could stick that head on the figure.

Yeah, that's what i was thinking !
In the manga (can't remembre if it was in the anime too), Vegeta also have this kind of aura in his first fight against Goku.

I hope Recoome is next too, but he is certainly far more popular than Jeice and surely memorable as the Captain himself. So, to maximize the sellings, I think that they need to release Jeice & Burter before with a few months apart. Of course, Burter should be release after because he would be more appealing with Jeice at his sides on the promotional pics. After the releases of these two, Recoome should maintain the hype. Especially if they do Kid Gohan and Saiyan-Namek saga Krillin in the same times.

Yeah they did price rape for Zamasu and Vegito but they don't always. They just did it for these two specifically because everyone was unsure how limited preorders were gonna be, and BBTS still has to make a profit, it's not their fault Bandai is charging more than usual for the two.

BBTS still has a bunch of other figures for regular price or discounts. It can be a bit more expensive, but BBTS packs em really safely, and some people feel more comfortable buying from a store that doesn't ship from the other side of the planet, so they don't mind paying a little more. Anyway, that anon was asking about UI Goku and I'm pretty sure they're selling him for close enough to normal price.

Yeah it has the same wonky eyes that Awakening Goku has. But I at least like that this face is smiling. The Saiyaman head is shaped kinda funny too, so I'll probably stick with the Ultimate head.

Ive seen a custom or two of the Time Patroller’s head painted black. Works great for base and SSJ Gohan, but you have to pull off the scouter and sculpt an ear, which is a huge task.

You overpayed a bit anon, I got both of them for about $100 each. But yeah, the late comer tax has been pretty terrible. I just started collecting around last September, and according to those charts, it looks like that just happened to be around the same time they all started simultaneously shooting up in price for some reason. It hurts my soul to see how Awakening Goku and Super Trunks were once available for basically half of what I paid for them.

I paid like $100 for SS3 Goku, SSG Goku, Beerus, Whis, OG Broly, and Majin Vegeta. And like $90 for Awakening Goku, Tenshinhan, and Yamcha.

My wallet has suffered but at least I have all of them now (except for Krillin, 18, and 17, but I've basically accepted that I'll never have those and that 2.0s will be released eventually.)

I got the Event Exclusive Ultimate Gohan and was trying to put the Super Saiyan head on the figure but it just wouldn't go on. I compared the two heads and for some reason the SS head has a significantly smaller peg hole than the base head? What the fuck? Is there an easy fix for this?

Maybe. I’d expect it to dip a lot if Bandai makes a UI Omen with the damaged blue shirt. I feel like that’s the most popular damaged look, since it reflects beginning of SSJ on Namek, the end of Buu Saga, and most of the movies.

Nope. It was cast in different plastic, and the paint was better, but it is the exact same head from the original Super Saiyan release. Also had a new faceplate or two.

It’s old but still holds up incredibly well and still remains the best Goku figure IMO. It’s probably what 90% of people want to start their collection with. Which is part of the reason they keep spamming Gokus. No one is going to get into the line if they can’t start out with an affordable Goku.

Effect is a clip on his back. Think Nappas back clip but with more joints in it. The Vegito sword will split and plug into the same back piece.

He's great for what he is. Great leg range and grteat arm range, his torso is just what it is. They added a joint in it in away that allows for some expression and personality. He he buff his gut sort of look.

I actually love fat buu, so I had to get him. Great figure, but I'm indifferent about the cape. It doesn't ruin the figure, but it certainly holds back what is a near-perfect figure for the character. I have lots of fun posing him with other toys.

Piccolo is good, I think hes better value than the current Figuarts at least until a 2.0 comes out. SS3 Goku looks ok if you can have him lean back on something. He can't stand for shit because of the hair so it's either lean him back against something or have him excessively leaning forward to where it looks gay and he'll still fall over easily.

don't have the androids, but they look way too tall and bulky from what I've seen in videos. If you just have them together in their own little area though probably won't be bad, but not in line with the figuarts figures at all.

just my 2 cents, you'll come to your own conclusion when you get them I'm sure.

Just paid my HLJ order as well. They are offering Air mail for 940 yen unregistered or 1,370 registered.

Wish I had ordered multiples from them originally as they are allowing 20 per customer.

I've heard the opposite. DHL is the only one not having any issues, which is why everyone is switching over to them, which is why they are upping prices.

Anyway, I had Goku and a few other things that were way bigger and I moved them over to DHL. Shipping was a lot cheaper than I was expecting (something like $24) with all the price gouging talk.

I've never bought from Amiami before, but I got UI Goku preordered. Which shipping option is best? Which one will actually get the package to me and not get stuck waiting somewhere because of Corona? I've gone with DHL for amiamimi. It's barely a dollar more expensive than EMS for me and I figure that right now it's probably the best bet. For me, EMS has taken about a week during normal times and DHL is about 2-3 days. That could all be out the window right now, but it's what I'm going with.

Pretty much everybody that didn't force the joints and tried to understand what the problem was. So I guess plenty of japanese people, not so many hamhanded gaijins.

There's ABSOLUTELY NO RISK of breakage if just push the arm joint into place. What happens with Jiren (joints not fully pushed into place at the factory) could have happened with any single figuarts. When you attach them as intended the things work as good as any other figuarts joint. There's absolutely no need to lube them or anything like that, just attach them fully so they rotate freely. I move his arms the same way as any other figuarts, there's no need to be more careful.
