For Leias get the same card back version I have. She isn't face printed, but her head is a better sculpt and has better painting than the version that came in the red box.
If you don't want that Leia, then I'd get either Hoth Leia or the Target exclusive Bespin Escape Leia. Both of those have the nice face printing.
For Han Solo, I think the best looking version of Ford is the Bespin Han. The ANH Han's face isn't painted as good, but he does come with an extra pair of gloved hands, and a stormtrooper belt.
The best looking verion of ANH Luke is probably the one packed in with his Landspeeder.
Otherwise the best looking face I'd say are either on Yavin Luke, or the Walmart Jedi Luke from Jabba's Palace.
The sandtroopers are great since they come with 3 guns, and removable shoulder pad and backpack. As for Clone Troopers, some are better than others.
I'd also grab the ESB Bounty Hunters, Chopper, & Dr. Aphra's astromech. There aren't too many droids and aliens in TBS, and those look to be the most fun of what you can get.
Any Disney Sequel characters should be easy to get under retail.
