Hell, how do we even compare Gundam and Transformers? Gundams generally fight through aerial melée combat, which is something Transformers almost never do. Flying, yes. Fighting, absolutely. But both at the same time?
In terms of weapons and materials the Transformers should have an insane and insurmountable edge, though.
Gundams are bigger than the average Autobot, should be about as big as a Seeker (F-15-sized), but are they stronger, proportionally? I do not believe so, to the contrary. (And some Transformers, even non-Combiners, are a lot bigger.).
