So far the leaks are coming from retailers, and most retailers are closed. At this point we have no idea if the summer sets will be on schedule. So far the 2 minecraft sets are on lego's official site for June 1, even in the US which normally gets summer sets in August.

I used to be the pissed one and then I had some conversations a couple years ago and my entire perspective has shifted. They don’t owe us anything. turns out I accidentally got my girlfriend back in to lego. She used to have a bunch of pirate sets back in the day but her mom sold them for liquor money or some shit. She's been hunting CL adds and using BL for set info. I've never been so proud.
As an aside I'm not too interested in these new monkey boy sets. The TLM esque hyper detailing/ greebling/ whatever its called is nice for the movie, but I truly do not think it fits in childrens sets. Also those prices for the sets are a huge barrier to entry if they are to be believe.
Seems to be the issue is the LEGO has gone from selling "toys" to "play sets" and those "play" sets have been turned in to "model" sets. Instead of most of the products being a slightly larger polybag that works in tandem with the big flagship boxes LEGO is content with making a combination of multiple smaller products forcing you to buy them all at once. Meaning you may not give a shit about the smaller buildings in the build, but you have to have them just to get the big robut
Regardless, if they shelf warm hard enough to get discounted I will probably pick them up just for the set pieces, and sell the minifigs elsewhere. Do not care for those one bit.

Monkie Kid is a good theme in my opinion, but that's because it has something for each current popular theme. LEGO did classic samurais once already, so a modern version of China with some fantasy and mech elements thrown in is pretty much a nice stew.

The theme is fine, if not feeling a little bit "too much oif the same". From my perspective it's Ninjago but to TLM quality and, and humor.
The detail of the buiilds is great, but I think it would be within Lego's interest to just outright announce a universal "UCS"-type line for all their in house properties. Just to differentiate Lego models from lego playsets.I understand they already have some "advanced" designation for sets meant for AFOL, but from what I remember seeing they just randomly decide not to define big sets as advanced.
And maybe up the detail of the more youth oriented sets just a smidge. One of the previous battle packs I looked at for starwars has the most atrocious walker I've ever seen. Just downright terrible.

Cause from what I've seen, its only a couple of specific colors that are crumbling. I know of blue and dark brown, but not sure what other colors it could be.

I've had problems with the pearl gold and dark red as well. Dark red probably has a similar dye formula to dark brown, and the pearl gold always looked a little more cheaply than the other colors.

Got issues with pretty much every color and it's especially clips that crack like crazy.
I recently found out that cracks in normal bricks like those ones here can actually be fixed with ABS modelling cement.
VERY gently pry the brick apart with like a screw or something, drip a tiny bit into the crack, put the piece into a vise and let it cure for a day or so. Afterwards sand and polish the excess away and the part is (almost) as good as new.
No luck with cracked clips, though.

Judging by the replacement parts that recently came in it's probably this.
One of the small arch pieces on the Thanos mech had a huge crack along the curved side and when I replaced it I noticed that it took an unusual amount of force to put it into place, like as if it has way too much clutch power which may be caused due to the part slightly shrinking because of cooling off too fast and then also ending up with internal stress that further promotes cracks.
It actually reminds me of this image here I found on Brickset and the unusually large gaps between the pieces.

Why are kids so much more based with lego than adults, the BrikWars forums are full of no-fun Warhammer nerds.

Once the quarantine is over and the new Ninjago sets with the dice are released, maybe you could do some kind of tabletop RPG with them. Have wojtu adventures and see what the kids can come up with.

I like to do the same when I have stuff being built. Some of my attempts at modular MOCs have been sitting with a construction crew around them for years now, and when I did some custom stuff around the Assembly Square for christmas I had people setting up stalls and removing the fountain to replace it with a christmas tree for a few days before I got everything built.

The hardest part of Lego building is having to disassemble a beautiful model. Like, I'm not proud of myself easily so when I actually make something half-decent I feel good about myself. I guess that's the beauty of today's photography and social media to show it all off before it bites the dust.

If you're talking about Nathan Sawaya and his ilk, it's because they aren't actually skilled. In Sawaya's case, he did a short stint at a Legoland park and made off with a copy of their sculpting program (you feed it a 3D model and it fills the space with basic bricks).
