As for the penthouse, I figure I'd start the same way you had in mind. First the basics like a fancy kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and then expand with more and more.
I spent way too much this month already on Lego too, got the hamburger food truck 3-in-1 set, the set with Freya McCloud (Freya Anon I'm going to cuck you so fucking hard) and a bunch of DOTS wristbands for the awesome flat plates with decorations on them like unicorns and rainbows. Those'll look amazing on MOCs of stores or license plates on cars.
