So there's this guy who had a tumblr called bad taste toybox. Yeah. I think one of the horse one is on the raggedy edge of working with smaller stuff, but otherwise they need shrinking. I got the molds done for a first round of reduction, and Hobby Lobby opens back up today, so I may be able to get in and get some resin. Yeah I used an airbrush. First a grey Styrenex primer, then flesh Styrenex primer, then Testor Model master light skin + another flesh Styrenex primer in 50/50 mix. The friction points like the shoulders are reinforced with "Mod Podge" sealant to protect from paint scrub. Eyes and lips are touched with gloss varnish

Usually you need to sand off the joints, look up "joint prep work" for custom action figure on google. I did dremel around the crotch area and shoulder area. But I didn't have to do elbow and knees because I use Enchantress figure as a base, and the plastic is already black so it is kind of a shortcut.

The idea here is that you want to sand the joints down so the plastic is not rubbing each other. Then you want to reinforce it with some kind of varnish. I found Mod Podge in particular to be really nice if you water it down. It cures like a hard shell super glue, although not as thick.

This is actually my first casting experience, so I'm not sure how much elucidation I can bring to the topic. The only deviation I made from the instructions was to add odorless mineral spirits (I added nearly 50% by volume, but most things I've read indicate you aren't gonna get much more shrinkage past 35% or 40%. I probably only increased the cure time, kek) .to the silicone before pouring. I've got an old dog, so I've got a few pill bottles laying around, and they worked fine for mold forms, I just glued the peckers to the bottom.
Other than that, the resin seems to be hardening, so we'll see if I fucked up anything tomorrow or the next day.

Durability is pretty solid, rubber is way more durable than I expected after 2 years now or so. Joint stiffness same as day it was new. Probably is some armor paint stains but not even a problem when you keep it clothed.

Uhh, yea I can't argue against that. Even as someone who likes Taimanin, some of the fetishes they cover are disgusting to me. Watching Taimanin is like looking for gold: you just have to sift though the mud to find what you like, though I generally find more stuff I like than not.

We're not sure yet, It'll probably be around 5-6in, seeing as their last figure was a little big.

Asagi always seemed like kind of a tall woman to me so IDK if it'll be 1/12, but it'll be close enough to where I think she'll probably look fine next to figmas.
