Sure a ton of people have nostalgia for them, but at the end of the day they were just a cardboard/plastic disk with a sticker on it. And the game was lame as hell too. Whoever came up with pogs laughed himself silly all the way to the bank.

Whoever designed these must be one of the cheekiest cunts on the planet.
They're just shitty plastic keys with a sticker on it and I can't think of any other toy that was deliberately designed to break and become completely unusable afterwards during play.

I remember literally seeing through the upcharge in the 7-plus-carrying-bag packs of Gogos Crazy Bones. There was a window on the back of the box to see what color bag was inside, but the bag itself wasn't held in place by anything. This made it super easy for me to just shift the bag out of the way and see exactly what was inside. I felt like a genius.

I completely agree. I even collect various trading cards, and I hate those things. A trading card should just be window dressing for the toy, not a reason to charge $2 more for it. It cost a fraction of a cent to make.

I love the figures in the Treasure X line of toys, but I hate realizing near half the cost of the figures result from disposable shit the figures come embedded in (sand, slime etc.).

Does anyone actually like Schleich toys? I remember seeing massive shelves of them at Toys R Us in like 2010 and just being confused as to how they get that much shelf space. They're just bland and expensive.
