Started on wave 28. Gave up on wave 63.
Not to say I haven't bought any glyos since then maybe 3 or 4 figures.
Its been dead to me.
I didn't like the direction it was heading in with all the paint.
Not that its terrible, even looks great on some figures. I think its the natural evolution of glyos but just not for me.

I really regret selling off glyos few years ago
I bought a ton of clear parts because that was the drop when I had extra cash to spend
I didn't like how it was all clear even tho I liked glyos and kept looking at old drops and regretting not getting into glyos 'hurr Durr during THAT drop'

Matt did one last year in January, and Marty did one last year in Feburary. Jesse did five last year, one in May, one in July, two in October, and one in November. And that's not counter the custom that has been sitting in Martys shop that just recently sold, or any of the custom Dcon or cluttery gallery mega knights that were available last year. I feel like we'll eventually get another one, probably an armordoc sometime this year, it's not profitable as pvc but that doesn't mean creators dont want to still do them.

You've missed the entire point of the conversation. We're talking about the viability and cost-effectiveness of vinyl in the Glyos community. Being that it's Jesse, the Knights and Hob are made in the same dang factory as Armodocs and Titan Mushis, and they price out the same to produce. In a time where pretty much everyone is shutting down vinyl production, the fact that it's getting made at all by a Glyos-affiliated producer is what's crucial here, not whether it's actually Glyos compatible or not.

The Sincrodrones double as an exercise in creating new, more compact, robotic characters from specific existing Toyfinity molds. These take advantage of the parts we originally assigned to each particular mold.

Lots of fun building to be found within the self imposed "limits" of this approach.

As far as more familiar Gendrones go, it's not quite time for the big mega-mechanical meeting to occur just yet, though multiple beings with artificial intelligence will be present.

This wave was actually shuffled around a bit amidst all the weirdness over the last few months, with a completely different assortment originally slated to roll out before this, but the Sincrodrones just couldn't wait to return!

We have plans for the LSA/Dark Travelers that hopefully you'll like, it's just taking forever to finally connect all the dots. It involves new molds and some unexpected combinations, relevant to those projects I was mentioning in the last blog post.

As far as colors for this wave go, I think we've hit a pretty decent variety of hues in both clear and solid selections. A ton of extra time was spent on the builds/possible combos and color theory.

There's also an all new small surprise on deck that's finally ready to surface. Nothing massive, but pretty neat nonetheless.

I also want to say that it's truly great to be answering these launch questions again. Thank you guys for still wanting to explore this neck of the woods.

I was under the same impression that the vinyl knights were not made at the glyos factory and do not have glyos compatible ports.

Regardless Galaxxor recently made 2 new heads and new releases for Dcon this past November, so the point regardless of which side is correct is the same: new glyos vinyl is possible, just not something most of the creators seem to have interest in doing at this time.

Buy the rarest, most expensive RxH stuff that you CAN find on the aftermarket. Stalk yja, mandarake, Instagram and skullbrain for sales.

Right now I see one on yja that's decent, $450 for something relatively rare (that should really be 350 but whatever, how bad do you want it).
Get one or two RxH like this and then post on skullbrain, Facebook groups and instagram that you're looking to trade for a knuckle. Knuckles are particularly cool, sought after and expensive so you should cut the bullshit and offer up a trade PLUS additional $200-300.
Do this method and I'd say it's likely you can have one in the next few months.

With the drop tomorrow and since its been awhile I was just thinking how great it was when Matt used to post the ever so popular list.
I anticipated the drops much more having made an itinerary of what I was getting, sometimes changing it more than once.
Not that its bad without the list but its like everything else now, a mad scramble throwing shit in your cart only to come down off the pvc excitement minutes later only to realize most or some of the stuff you really didn't want or need or something you passed on you decided is pretty bad ass after you really had time to get a good look at it. Now you wait to place another order hoping its still available.
So is glyos. So is life.
Hope this drop is a good one.
