Can we talk about the terrible resale value of Bakugan?

When I got into this I knew this was a solid investment and I was making the right choice. Fuck a 401k, I have Bakugan.

I can't feed my fucking family plastic and springs...

People will pay anything from 20-50 bucks for a single original Bakugan if it's in the show accurate color. Some even go for more than 50 if they're rare.

Nobody wants to buy shitty bulk in the wrong colors because those are not hard to find.

Some Japanese collector toys can go 2x original price pretty fast because they were a limited production to start with (why their original price was high too) or the only figure of the IP for now, shit like that. Regardless, horrible investment plan.

Spotted these at walmart, I didnt know they were a thing.

I googled it and apparently there is a real life Dragonoid Monster truck. Shit, now I kinda want one. Sadly they didn't have the red one.

I foolish enough to think that Bakugan was going to kill YGO since YGO was already going to shit with 5D's and Zexal. I mainly collected show accurates and just little random ones that I thought were cute. They just waste space in my room now and I'll probably just resell all of it as one big lot to bid over.

I'm sad that Zoobles got a pretty cute anime AFTER they stopped selling in the US because the US promo art for Zooble toys was ugly as sin. I'm also surprised they never redubbed it and brought Zoobles back with just the characters that appear in the show.

Only toys I can think of that would've been a good investment were HMS Beyblades, some of those go for over £250 nowadays. Beyblade in general tends to increase in value if it's a main character's or popular, but even then you're just gonna be sitting on them for a decade.
Bakugan in particular is awful because none of them retained any value except for a couple show-accurate ones and Bakutech, and very, very few people are actually interested in buying any of those.
