Then there's the cost issue of assembling that many parts, money they rather spend on high quality paint and sculpt. I get why they didn't articulate certain parts. Like the legs. If they did it would've been too much, too complicated to pose, and difficult to support weight with the smaller joints.
But as mentioned, Revo Geo came up with their own special set of joints to articulate the smaller parts so new releases should be closer to what anons expect. But I think it doesn't matter, not enough people are wiling to spend 8000 Yen per RevoGeo to support the line.
