Modibots? I'd say so, despite the outcry for a stikfas revival they get zero attention. It's pretty criminal especially considering how affordable they ultimately are. It's the unfortunate case for most crowdfunded toy lines. Pic related, I suppose once you leave the realm of retail, your ultimate fate is to be "niche".

Lanard's K9 corps fits the bill too I think. There were endless TMNT rip offs throughout the 90's and early 2000's, honestly I think we might see the imminent return of the fad in the 2020's, but K9 corps is so odd and out there it exists in its own little world. Who would ever think of combining GI Joe and Ninja turtles right?

It's because the plastic quality on stikfas was kinda shit DESU. They would either break or become floppy pretty quick from what's remember.

They were actually. Been awhile but I think they had good arm and leg articulation. Stitch's arms I remember moved independently and could go all 360. I think the issue was no ab crunch but it wasn't needed. Dammit I think I'll have to look for it when I get home tonight.

Stitch and Gantu are the best of the line up, second only to Mickey and Chernabog. Everyone else, though fun and well designed lacks the unff of the four I just mentioned. I would have gladly taken Zurg and Buzz or Hercules and Hades over Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Scar, and Simba.

With the recent success of animal themed toylines (Kong,Paw Patrol, Rampage, TMNT, Jumanji,Goo Jit zu) I wonder why Lanard hasn't revived them. They're so distinct from everything else, it's a crying shame not to bring them back. Though I do have a soft spot for tmnt clones, so I might just be biased.

I've bought and sold and re-bought these guys a few times over the years and think they're really neat,but the 1/6th scale and floppy as fuck joints just don't work for them. I'd absolutely love if they were revived in some way, though.

Back in the early 2010's, Lanard briefly expanded the corps range with a stylized sigma 6 esc sub line of budget figures. If I was in-charge, I'd just repurpose this aesthetic for a K9 Corps revival. That and I'd add elbows.

I remember seeing them in TRU, they were fun to look at but they had zero articulation for the most part. The mech itself had articulation but the design was so bland it didn't garner any interest from me. If the monsters had more articulation I would have bought them. Good contribution nonetheless.

In a time when military toys are borderline extinct and Gi Joe is a shell of its former self, the corp is about as good as it gets. They're fun little figures, cheap too, I just want Lanard to invest more money into the line. Some of the molds are pretty old and you can tell thats the case. Jurassic Clash was a good step forward.
