>>8154874Beast Wars holds up even better than Reboot, in my opinion, although Reboot does lean a lot more heavily towards comedy. I've been catching episodes of Beast Wars on Toonami Aftermath recently, and I expected to be a bit disappointed, but, even seeing a random episode with no context, the performances, comedy and melodrama were extremely entertaining. Mainframe was certainly one of the better things to happen to TV animation in the '90s.
>>8154890>even if the writing got a bit rough with BMYeah. If someone hasn't seen it before, then I recommend watching through BM because it certainly does go to some interesting places, but if I ever rewatch the whole series with my friends, we'll probably skip it.
>>8154877I haven't been buying much over the past year, anyway, although I used that excuse to justify the Seacons. But yeah, reselling is always an option. I paid $110 for it on Mandarake, and it seems to frequently go for almost twice as much on ebay, even used, so I'm not too worried. I've never owned the mold before, but even with all the shitposting about it, I think it looks really cool.
