It affects the ecosystem so much that the Action Alliance is called to action. The heroes are able to confront Ralph and his cohorts by augmenting themselves with the Chaos Crystal of Water, but that ends up making the controlled plant life even stronger.
The entire team is snared in vines, and Reptron riskily decides to breathe fire in an attempt to escape.
However, being augmented by the crystal instead turns his fire into steam. Leo tells him to steam up the area, leaving everyone blind. Leo sneakily subdues the other minions and is able to take the Nature Crystal away, before Mika surprises Ralph with an airplane. The heroes are victorious, but the tree fort starts to undo itself and both teams narrowly escape to a safe place. Ralph ends up lying on the forest floor in defeat, but is recruited by a mysterious ally.
