LooseCollector has updated their Lady Death figure's sculpt, articulation and accessories.

She now has an extra set of hands (one pair "fists" for holding accessories, one pair open). Both have hinged wrists.

The top part of her bikini is now more comic-accurate, with larger breasts. They also added comparison pics.

She costs $53 ($60 for the Coffin Comics Exclusive with name plate signed by Lady Death's creator Brian Pulido). If you order through Coffin Comics, you pay a $15 deposit and pay the rest once the product is available. :

I understand the price is gonna be a bit higher because as a niche character it won't be produced in as high a volume as cheaper figures, but this absolutely is not a $53 figure.

I think pre-ordering is the only way to get the figure. I think if they don't get enough pre-ordered, there's a possibility she might not get made at all.

About the thigh swivels, I think they put them lower on her legs so it doesn't break up the sculpt as much. If they put the articulation right at thigh level, it would break up the tops of her boots. That would look awful with posing.

It's the head. It's way too big. Most adult figures are proportionally scaled to be 7.5 heads tall. This figure, based on my rough estimate is somewhere about 6~6.5 heads tall. That's commonly the proportions of a 12yr child.

In the end, your subconscious is trying to make sense of a semi realistic oppai loli figure with wide shoulders & baby making hips. That's why she looks "Weird."
