>>8173559I remember when Isabelle Nendo, Figma Link and Samus were such a huge deal because prior to them it was unheard of for Nintendo to license their characters to action figure makers. Then Jakks got the license to a bunch of their IPs and it was a bit of a mindfuck that a western company would produce Nintendo toys. It was a time when Nintendo said "fuck it" to their old ideologies and started dipping into mobile and paid DLC among other things like toys, they sure changed in lot in just less than 10 years.
